2. Up to now the spay/neuter services were beyond the reach of many regular Panamanians.
4. Panamanians lack the understanding of the importance of sterilizing their pets.
3. Most Panamanians are tolerant of strays and their presence/misery has become acceptable in our society.
5. Panama does not have the funds to capture, impound and maintain a no-kill shelter, thus they roam the streets looking for food and shelter.
6. Many die on the streets due to starvation, disease, exposure, car accidents, and lack of basic companion animal care.
